Who we are

Mindly (mindly.studio) is operated by Yasin Erdal. For privacy questions, use the contact form on the site or the email address you receive replies from after an inquiry.

What we collect

Contact form: name, email, optional WhatsApp number, preferred contact time, country, and your message.
Journal email subscribe: email address when you choose Subscribe on the blog.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, and similar log data from our host and (if you accept) analytics.
Language preference: stored locally in your browser (localStorage).

Why we use it

To respond to your message, send new journal posts by email if you subscribed, operate and secure the website, remember your language preference, and — only if you accept analytics cookies — understand aggregate site usage.

Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Contact inquiries: legitimate interest in replying and managing client conversations, or steps at your request before a possible engagement.
Journal email subscribe: consent when you submit the Subscribe form (you can unsubscribe anytime — see Your rights).
Analytics cookies: consent (only after you click Accept in the cookie banner).
Language preference: legitimate interest in providing the site in your chosen language.

Processors & third parties

We use: Formspree (contact and journal subscribe forms), Google Analytics (only if accepted), Google Fonts and Fontshare (typography), our hosting/CDN provider, and external links such as Instagram and LinkedIn. Each provider processes data under their own terms.

Cookies & storage

Strictly necessary: language preference in localStorage (mindly-lang, mindly-cookie-consent).
Analytics (optional): Google Analytics cookies set only after you accept.
You can withdraw consent anytime via Cookie settings in the footer or on this page.

Change cookie preferences

Retention

Contact messages are kept as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any follow-up, then deleted or archived according to business needs (typically up to 24 months unless a longer period is required). Journal subscriber emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove your address. Server logs are kept for a limited period by our host. Analytics data follows Google’s retention settings when enabled.

Your rights

If you are in the EEA, UK, or similar jurisdictions, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Contact us via the Connect form to exercise these rights. To unsubscribe from journal emails, use an unsubscribe link in any message (when we send one) or contact us via the Connect form with the email you used to subscribe.

International transfers

Some providers (for example Google, Formspree, or our host) may process data in the United States or other countries. Where required, they rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Sensitive information

Please do not share more personal or health-related detail in the form than you are comfortable with. We use your message only to respond to you, not for automated profiling or advertising.
